TYPE II Wire
The "GUMMETAL TYPE II" is a wire form developed by Dr. Shin Hasegawa for the purpose of "en bloc" technic, which is the simultaneous adjustment of the entire dentition, rather than individual tooth movement one step at a time.
Since wire bending to apply uniform active crown lingual torque to the entire arch requires high skill, it is preformed as a ready-made product with this complicated bending applied by machine.
The "GUMMETAL TYPE II" is for upper jaw with wire size .018 x .022.
